Rarely seen "Fog bow" appears in Sunset CliffsThis article is about a rare sighting of a fog bow. A fog bow has the same effect as a rainbow, this occurs when light hits a drop of moisture, causing the light to separate into different colors. Those colors reflect the back of the drops, producing a spectrum of colors that can become a rainbow. I chose this article because I have never heard of a fog bow before, which is quite interesting that it would occur in San Diego because they are rare and the fog has to be quite low in order for this to happen. This relates to the climate lessons we have been learning so far, about temperature and precipitation and the effects on a climate.
