County contests billion-dollar storm-water rulesThis articles is about, how much it costs to close beaches after rainstorms in order to reduce chronic pollution, which is an estimated billion dollar regulation. The public is now questioning the costs and benefits of environmental rules. Board officials say that minimizing bacteria in waterways is good for human health and the economy. It relates to a theme we are discussing in class, about how humans are the main cause of the disruption in nature and it is a neverending cycle of just trying to fix our own mistakes, which we are capable of.
